i do: bridgett+jeff; huntingburg indiana wedding photographer
June 4, 2013
you probably remember these two. i was so excited for bridgett and jeff’s day to come, as i usually am with couple’s who i worked with prior to wedding day…there’s that sort of, reunion feeling to look forward to. those feelings extend far beyond superficial photos, to the fact that i truly enjoy spending time with jeff and bridgett. jeff is funny but serious when it counts and bridgett doesn’t know a stranger, treating everyone with love. i so dig her for that. and boy do they dig each other. i haven’t gotten choked up at a wedding in A LONG TIME, but man, when bridgett came down the aisle with her mom and dad, i had to hold back the tears! there’s such a genuine quality to bridgett (and jeff) that just makes you want to be around them.
i had forgotten how absolutely photogenic bridgett (and jeff) is/are. like she literally doesn’t take a bad photo. meaning? photo bomb, happening right now.
thanks again, bridgett and jeff for having me. i wish you nothing but sunshine and rainbows and hope you enjoyed your time in st lucia!
bridgett and jeff chose to see each other before the ceremony so that they’d have time to relax before the reception. you all know how much i love a first look and feeling the air palpably lift after bridgett and jeff saw each other confirmed why.
gosh, bridgett….i don’t say this often, to avoid sounding trite, but you were GLOWING.
attention brides doing a first look…i thought this was such a great moment and i’m so glad we were able to capture bridgett pinning jeff’s boutonniere.
believe it or not, this was the first wedding i shot where the groom or bride participated in a fraternity or sorority wedding ritual!
