Grace & Connor’s Heartfelt Wedding at Hawthorns Country Club

July 13, 2026

I look back at all of my weddings with an immense amount of fondness. But days like Grace and Connor leave a lasting impression. They had the most perfect, heartfelt, meaningful day at Hawthorns Country Club in Indianapolis. Throughout the day, I noticed how close both Grace and Connor are with their families, but they never once lost focus on what was most important–each other. The made time throughout the day to step away, just the two of them and I really couldn’t love them more for it. There is so much that goes into and happens during a wedding day that it’s easy to wind up at your reception and feel as though you’ve blacked out. Taking time to check in and re-center with each other creates little anchors.

Grace and Connor are both so loved and adored by their friends. It’s easy to see why. Connor is an actual golden retriever (I could make an entire album of all the photos I have of him resting his head on someone else) and Grace has this ability to make all those around her feel seen and appreciated. I was truly sad driving away from their wedding.

Big thanks to our vendor team:
