josh and i traveled down to houston last weekend to visit with his family. what does one do while in houston, you ask? go to the rodeo, of course. we just so happened, and by “just so happened”, i mean we planned to be in town while the zac brown band was set to perform at the houston rodeo. i didn’t know what the houston rodeo was or how big a deal it was until we got there. it’s basically the super bowl of rodeos littered with food vendors selling any sort of fried anything you could ever imagine along with rides to keep anyone entertained. we even got to see cort mccoy, of amazing race fame, ride his bull! and in case you were wondering, zac brown band was amazing. i’d see them again in a heartbeat.

we had a great weekend filled with warm weather in sunshine. just what these snowbirds needed.
