With IU playing in the College Football Playoff Championship this weekend, it feels only natural to finally post one of my IU couples from the summer. We have a lot of catching up to do!
When Amelia first reached out to me, she expressed wanting a very candid approach to their wedding photos. Coming from a photo-journalism background, Amelia really craved that authentic, “this is how we felt in the moment” documentation of their day. While this approach may not be appropriate for all, Riley and Amelia live a life with huge personalities and they have FUN which made documenting their day a breeze.
Beer burros, thanks to Riley’s mom who raises them, completed a day full of so much joy and celebration. Being back at the Wilds was a sweet treat, but being surrounding with such lovely families was the true prize!
The Figgs assembled such a great team:
- Venue: The Wilds
- Catering: One World
- Florals: The Seedlings
- Main Photographer: Meghan Premuda
- Second Shooter: Ashlyn Peters

Meghan is an experienced, published film-inspired wedding photographer based in Southern Indiana but can be found working with couples all over the globe, anywhere nice.
