the day started off rainy. it had been gloomy all week, so why wouldn’t it be gloomy the morning of the wedding? but, i assured mindy all morning that it will.not.rain and everything.will.be.perfect. darnit. and wouldn’t you know it? the second we stepped outside for portraits, the sun actually made its presence.
i feel that most weddings i do, i walk away (or rather, sit at my computer) with a “theme” for the day. mindy and jeff’s theme was “stolen looks”. i captured so many “bet you didn’t think i was looking” looks and that truly makes me happy. these two are such a down-to-earth, good couple. they’re good people. the second i stepped into mindy’s mom house for prep photos (which, let’s face it, always feels a little awkward for a photographer), i was welcomed, offered a cocktail and was told to feel at home. knowing mindy, i wouldn’t expect any less from her family.
mindy and jeff, thank you so much for letting me capture your day. i thoroughly enjoyed spending the day not only with you, but with your families. all my love to you two!
how stinking cute are these boys? they were total camera hams.

Mindy & Jeff…these pictures are so good..what memories, thanks for letting us be a part of your big day…Love you both
