while the weather wasn’t our bff the day ali+eric said “i do”, i can’t imagine a more beautiful, warm, love-filled day for two awesome people. a+e have an air about them that makes you want to stick around and shoot the breeze. thoughtful, caring, funny….they are good people. good people that found each other and united to make a super-power couple.
keith bauer killed it, as usual, with flowers, decoration, the cake and orchestration of the day. after a beautiful ceremony at st joe’s catholic church and reception at the huntingburg events center, a+e jetted off to st lucia. all my best, you two. seriously. i mean it.
ali’s 6 month old niece (who i also just photographed!) facetimed ali to show off the curlers in her hair. for real. does it get cuter?!
love these next two shots my second shooter, kelly, grabbed.
ali + eric chose to see each other before the ceremony in order to have a private moment with each other and to share handwritten vows. it was such a sweet, genuine moment for which i was so thankful to be part of.
eric liked what he saw (how could he not?) and asked ali to spin. this is her saying she couldn’t because she was strategically placed on that sheet to protect her dress. (thanks, mother nature for NOT cooperating!)
and just like that, in the middle of their vows, the sun came out, BIG TIME!
eric and his mom chose against a traditional mother/son dance. and it.was.awesome.
big thanks to kelly buechlein for second shooting with me!
