I’ve known Evan literally his whole life, as he’s my cousin. I shot his senior photos and even got married at his house. Shay just so happened to be at that wedding as his new girlfriend and never did I dream that 9 years later we’d be in Manhattan shooting their engagement session. Life is wild, y’all.
While their wedding will happen back in Indiana, when Shay reached out asking if I would at all be interested in coming to the city to shoot their engagement session I squealed with joy. OF COURSE I will. We had the BEST morning catching up as family and getting to know their day as clients. We started off on the Upper East Side where they live and wandered over through Central Park (and finished up with an hours long brunch in the village, if you must know).
I’ve loved watching your love journey (it’s more than a story as it’s traveled a lot of miles) and can’t wait to be there to capture your day next summer. It’s a complete honor to be trusted with the job. xx
