at the end of may, my entire family (my mom’s side) jumped in our cars and headed south. we eventually (12 hours later…shoot me) landed in isle of palms, south carolina. we all stuffed ourselves into 1 big house and while it definitely had its own stressors (hazel was basically miserable the whole week), i absolutely adored spending time with family we don’t get to see nearly enough.
you might remember seeing ainsley last year (she’s almost the same age as hazel in those photos!) and i was so excited for her to meet hazel and sneak some kisses. i can’t wait to see what these two get into as they get older. nothing but trouble, i’m sure.
while i did take my “big camera”, it didn’t get used much. these photos basically stem from one sunset stroll with my cousin’s girlfriend (hi hanna!), whom i ADORE, and one morning hazel slightly tolerated the beach. such is life with a baby right?!
the famous oak trees of boone hall plantation. we were lucky enough to drive up without any other cars….or were we??? thanks to photoshop, i’ll never tell!
