from the moment lauren contacted me, i couldn’t wait to work with her. she was kind, her wedding was in a completely new area for me and she was decisive….and, i mean, look at her, she is gorgeous! then we shot their engagement photos and i became full-blown obsessed with she and brian.

lauren and brian are quiet (at least around me!) but sweet and attentive toward each other. lauren is a strong, smart woman but she allows brian to be her rock. that was 100% evident on their wedding day. as i mentioned in social media posts, we had a rotten day, weather-wise. i won’t even sugarcoat it! everyone was stressed but i knew that lauren just needed to see brian. and sure enough, the atmosphere shifted after their first look.

great weather or not, brian and lauren’s day was perfect. their bridal party was probably the most beautiful i’ve ever photographed (seriously, what’s in the water down there?!) and each one was nicer than the next. i want to specially thank lauren’s sister, alex. she was my chief location scout, tromping around her parent’s property with me while wearing 5″ heels and dodging rain and wind. what else are sisters for, right?? (lauren totally owes you 😉 )
