i’m not sure there are enough words to talk about how great jennifer and chris are. individually, they are some of the most kind, caring, loving people i’ve ever met. i mean, jen plans trips for make-a-wish as her job. what’s that, you say? yes, jen makes dreams come true…AS HER JOB. fitting, since jen and chris had their dreams come true last saturday when they became husband and wife.
one aspect of her dream-come-true day that jen wasn’t counting on: rain. i have literally never had a wedding day in which the ENTIRE day was full of it. from start to finish. it’s a good thing we live in such an amazing place that affords photographers like me people who are caring enough to come in on a saturday afternoon and unlock their entire medical building so that one of their employees can use it for photos for her best friend’s wedding. i can’t tell you how grateful i was for that gift. i also can’t tell you how grateful i was for jen’s amazing attitude toward it all. i was nervous when i showed up that morning but as soon as i arrived, i was met with a shrug, jen’s signature head tilt to the right, and a “oh well….what are you going to do??” jackpot.
