prepare yourself for a total photobomb of a post. #sorryi’mnotsorry, there is just too much good to share!
we last left b&b in boulder where i shot their engagement photos. i knew brittany fairly well and had met barry before at past weddings, but didn’t get to spend time with him until our shoot. i left our session at chautauqua park SO excited for their wedding. these two just have that special something that makes them so fun to be around. not to mention that i could sit and listen to barry’s accent for daysssssss.
brittany and barry’s day was all about travel….their travel from colorado, barry’s close family and friends’ travel from ireland (literally. the country.), all the way down to the decorative accents of their beautiful brunch reception. b&b have a very deep love for seeing the world, which might further explain why i love these two so much. in fact, they are embarking on a very extended european adventure later this year for their honeymoon. not before they hop in their RV and take a tour of the US for a month this october. jealous yet? i am.
b&b…your love for each other is palpable. the two of you fit each other like an old pair of leather boots; still supportive but broken in in all the right places making them SO comfortable. i couldn’t help but sit back and smile at the two of you throughout your day, knowing that i just photographed the wedding of two people so truly, deeply connected and in love. it’s a connection worth celebrating and i’m so glad to have been a small part of it. i wish you two nothing but the best. xo.
never, was there ever, a more perfect place to hang a wedding dress for photos.
brittany, i know you originally thought you wanted to get married in colorado, but i truly believe the universe made you get married in jasper just so that you could have photos coming out of your childhood home which looks straight out of an english countryside village. i heart these next photos SO much.
i realize this post is super heavy on brittany photos, but you don’t even understand the ridiculous yield of absolutely stunning photos i have of her! brittany you are stunning and, yoga does your body so good. also, her headpiece was her grandmothers veil, minus the veil. perfect, right?
barry and his twin bother!
i’ll end with this photo…of a very very very old bottle of irish whiskey which barry’s dad gifted to him 15 (right, barry?) years ago and barry held on to for a “special occasion.” this fit the bill!
