i spent new years weekend with josh on lake horton in michigan. the closest town was jackson, and don’t worry, there was nothing to do there, either; exactly what i was hoping for. jackson does, however, have a winery, which i’ll write a post about later. our long weekend was spent playing lots of my bge (best gift ever), cooking all meals from scratch, listening to npr, watching the ice fisherman and enjoying the peacefulness. my kind of getaway.
