i had so much fun with this family! full disclosure: i used to work with valerie, so as much as anything, i was looking forward to spending time catching up! taking these beautiful photos was just icing on the cake. while kade took a little longer to warm up to me, kierstin would have posed for hours, i’m sure. that photo above? are you kidding me with that sassafras? no one knew what she was doing over there over on the side and when i called her out on it? oh man, FITS OF LAUGHTER. totally busted.
