inspiration: public schools

i took this with my iphone FOREVER ago and just now got around to posting it. as we were walking through the (indianapolis area) high school, i stopped and marveled at that color combination. how stereotypical, right? i could easily see this translating into an interior living space. dark navy/charcoal walls, (yessssss) a cozy, neutral rug atop hardwood floors, a sage green throw hanging over a buttery leather couch (maybe even carry the sage through with some succulent plants on a windowsill) and finally, some pops of red. maybe a flower vase, stack of books or an interesting piece of art.
