oh man…you may want to settle into a comfy chair for this one. it’s long and beautiful and worth it, though. promise.
paula quinn (pq, to her friends and family) and kyle met and began dating very young but despite their young age, these two have been faced with more than many twice their age. kyle stood by pq through sickness and they’ve danced together through health, always with smiles on their sweet faces.
i can’t think of any other words to recap this day beside, “joyful.” blueberry hill estate was the perfect backdrop for kyle and pq’s day. while it was a real scorcher, the day was filled with love and family and happy tears and so.much.joy. i’m so beyond thankful to have been a tiny part of it and will always look back and smile when thinking about it. thank you so so much, k+pq+ your families, who welcomed me in like one of your own. xx

everyone say hi to sweet makenzie! she’s ready to have a baby boy very soon! i just love seeing my past brides work on my current brides.
aside from her mother, no one had seen paula quinn’s dress. it made for a pretty awesome, emotional reveal!
one of my favorite photos of the entire day.
these guys totally nailed this shot. so much so, that i couldn’t pick just one.
i have about 20 variations of this shot bc the bridal party, especially the boys, kept getting better and better. 🙂
love this grab from kelly’s angle.
kelly’s angle of the above shot. love it.
i typically don’t blog toast and cake cutting photos, let alone both, but with that amazing golden hour light, how can i not?!
ok, you want to know how awesome these two are? i requested 15 minutes at sunset to jump out for photos since we had such limited time after the ceremony (seriously. all those above shots were taken in about 17 minutes time.) and because the light was just so yummy. so i took them outside the tent and asked them to…wait for it…just dance together. i was sure i’d be met with embarrassed “no, thank you’s”, but they totally embraced it and we created some really really sweet photos. thanks for ending the night on such a high!!!
favorite. all day. favorite.
poor (or lucky?) kyle. that’s a LOT of kappas.
pq’s sisters killed it on the dance floor. i literally could have taken photos of their sweet moves all night.
and since kelly was with me all day, she snapped some photos of me in action. this is what i’d like to call the “meghan points all day” section. seriously, why do i do that?! also, frizzy hair, much?! i could have benefitted from some of the bridesmaid’s hairspray bc they all looked flawless.
but seriously, what am i pointing at and why has no one ever told me i do this?!
