jessica, nathan and all their loveliness were back last weekend, saying “i do.” nathan received orders shortly after graduating from west point, and is now stationed in alabama. to make everything in their lives as easy as possible, getting married in a simple ceremony was the way to go. note to future brides: this wedding was planned in a month. yes. 1 month. you can dew it!
also to be noted: the dress jessica is wearing was her mom’s. for real. shirley is an amazing seamstress and completely remodeled it. who says the 80’s can’t be gorgeous?
this was my first indoor shoot and while i was reallllly nervous about it, i’m very happy with the results. these two make me so happy to see and i can’t wait to see their lives unfold. i do baby shoots, too, you guys!
max made an appearance, too! isn’t his little bow tie too cute for words?
this is a photo of j+n with “the help,” by way of aunts and uncle. if you know these fine individuals, you’ll know that this photo exemplifies them to.a.t. i think it also exemplifies the mood of the entire evening: fun.
and i couldn’t help but post this. is this not the ultimate “it’s 90 degrees, humid and i am OVER taking pictures” face?
much love to the both of you and many thanks for hiring me as your photographer. even as hired help, i had SO much fun both photographing and participating in your special evening. xoxo
