i do: angela+justin; southern indiana wedding photographer

well friends, it’s officially the thick of wedding season. things have certainly ramped up and while i couldn’t be busier, i also couldn’t be happier with the amazing clients i’ve been working with and the photos i’ve been producing.
last saturday we were blessed with an absolutely perfect day. there was a crispness in the air, perfect blue skies and the cutest little outdoor wedding taking place. justin and angela were married on their own plot of land in the most perfect little valley. their home is pretty enchanting, really. people always ask me how i can live **gasp** outside a concrete jungle and my response is always, “because, look around here!”
i was also fortunate to work with a second shooter for this wedding and thus was able to capture many my view/kelly’s view for moments happening. i’ll explain more later in the post. thanks again, kelly, for tagging along. your work was so appreciated.

justin and angela chose to see each other beforehand and i LOVE the photos kelly and i captured. it was such a sweet moment that, to me, proved that even though you live with the person and you’ve seen them all morning, once you put that dress on and finally see each other the magic is still there. first looks are amazeballs. yes, i just said amazeballs on a post about a wedding.

i must have proclaimed “ugh, i love this light” about 84 times because around this moment, angela finally said, “i think she likes the light.” angela, do you see now why i like the light??? you’re glowing!

i love these photos with angela’s daughter, violet.

they had the most fantastic band play, called the hiding. and if you’re local, they’re playing a gig in huntingburg this weekend! i highly suggest checking them out.
