having a dinner party in the near future? check out how mrs van doren, the host of anna’s prom dinner, adorned her table. i glanced at it while in the kitchen and my jaw hit the ground. she did such an amazing job (and so did her florist). it was simple, but not boring and super cozy. i’m sure the high school boys really appreciated it. denise’s thoughtfulness, however, was not lost on me. my rule of thumb for any successful table decoration: candles. everyone, and i mean everyone, looks better by candlelight.
