Chelsea is the kind of girl that the phrase “to know her is to love her” was created for. but it’s more like “to be known by Chelsea is to be loved by Chelsea.” from the moment we met at Lauren and Brian’s wedding and again later that week in Nashville for their engagement session, I was welcomed into their family with loving arms, even garnering a lovely birthday message from her mom a few weeks ago. I like to think that all my couples are my friends but I truly feel that with Chelsea, Chris and their families–a true testament to the kind of people they are.
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed my time documenting their beach wedding in Sand Key, Florida. Photographing in a totally different geographical location is always fun and it left me jealous of all the pure beautiful light that coastal photographers get to play with all the time!
C+C had a sweet beach ceremony, surrounded by closest friends and family, followed by a laid-back beach dinner. But not before we stopped after a change of clothes and captured the last bits of the setting sun!

Chelsea’s daddy passed away when she was little and her LOVELY mom surprised her with their wedding bands to wear as her “something old.” And I didn’t* ugly cry at all. *kidding
Chelsea and Mickey have such a special bond, one similar to my stepdad and me, and this moment was just so touching. He was SO proud to be giving her away.
Sweet Pippa made the journey! and yes, that is Chelsea’s grandmother’s pearls she’s wearing. No, I’m not kidding.
Chelsea and Chris’ daughter have such a special relationship. It was truly beautiful to see. But really, how could you not be excited for someone like Chelsea to be joining your family??
