even with the threat of rain looming over their outdoor ceremony, alex and cody remained calm and optimistic. we weren’t sure until the last minute whether the outdoor wedding dream would happen, but what do you know? the weather held off and it was beautiful–with sprinkles coming just minutes after the ceremony. perfect timing!
my favorite moments of any wedding day are those quiet ones, between a bride and a groom, away from all the craziness. it was in the in between moments that i found alex and cody happiest and most smiley. and i have an abundance of portraits to prove it!
wishing you two the best!!

even though alex and cody did a first look, allowing us to finish all portraits before the wedding (which was vital as it was raining afterward), i still stole them away for about 5 minutes, in the rain, to capture some with their rings (and newlywed smiles) on!
my favorite of the day. by far.
and my second favorite of the day!
