the columbo stand has been a go-to smoothie spot on st john for the past 30+ years. it’s kitschy, full of chotchkies and totally fun. i don’t believe they serve columbo ice cream anymore, but that didn’t stop them from keeping the name, anyway. that’s sort of the st john way. if it’s not broken, it will not be fixed. heck, even if it is broken, it probably won’t be fixed. island time….
