i had the pleasure of taking photos of violet while josh and i were in dc a few weeks ago! i had seen violet’s mommy, jackie, at our wedding last year, but it had been a little while since i had seen violet! in fact, the last time i saw her was just before josh and i got engaged! she has grown into an outgoing, goofy and even more beautiful little girl. i was a little worried for how these photos would go, since the last time i took her photos in dc, she didn’t want much to do with me at all! i was so happy when she arrived, grabbed my hand and walked me straight into the park!
it makes me so happy that even after 2 moves, new jobs, and babies, jackie and i have remained such close friends. in fact, my closest friends all live at least 5 hours away. it’s kind of sucky but also proof that with a little bit of work (and a lot of emails), distance means nothing.
this is also probably a great time to re-mention that i am available for travel and on-location shoots!
