though lio is brand spanking new to this blog (i failed to blog his newborn session… i know, slacker. in my defense, i got married the weekend after i took them), his sister is no stranger. crazy resemblance, no??? scroll to the bottom for a fun comparison, complete with a shared love for sophie the giraffe.
i like to believe that lio and i have been pretty tight for a while…since before he even made his way into the world. see, we had LOTS of chats through his mommy’s belly about how he really needed to come on time, or early so that his mommy could be at our wedding. she has always been more like a sister to me, so much so that in 2nd grade i drew “my family”, which included a mystery sister my teacher never knew i had. lio was totally listening and came in plenty of time for he, his mom, dad, and sister (she was a flower girl!) to celebrate our day.
i only briefly saw lio over the holidays, so my jaw dropped when amy walked into the shoot with what seemed like a 3 year old! he has changed SO much in a few months time. what also left my jaw dragging was the fact that while he looks SO much like his sister, he looks even more like his grandpa/uncle chris on his mom’s side. he is such a sweet sweet little boy and i can’t wait to photograph he and mia (she was at home sick with tummy flu) when i take her 3 year photos in june. do you like how i just did that, amy, i’m pre-planning shoots for you now.
