new fav pic alert. i was flipping through the shots i took on sunday and when i came across this one, i was so so happy to see the moment i had captured that i literally got a little teary. i obviously love photography for many reasons but, for me, the crux of my love lies in capturing small, futile to some, intimate moments that go unseen by most. those moments are, for me, what it’s all about. in fact, i didn’t even see this moment happen. my canon rebel did. i realize this isn’t the most perfectly composed or highest quality image ever. that doesn’t matter to me. what matters to me is the moment i caught. it’s perfection and we will never get it back. yet another reminder to slow down and be witness to the small, and most infinitely important things which are happening all around us, every day.
