so i’m an IU alum, no big surprise. this past saturday the IU alumni club of sw indiana held it’s annual golf scramble at the donald ross course in french lick, complete with beer (obvs), a bob knight chair toss contest (winner threw it 70′!) and CALBERT CHEANEY. yeah. i had a major crush on him when he played at iu. so modest and friendly, he was just as humble as i imagined. he even humored me by teeing off with one of my pink (shut up) balls.
and in case you’re wondering, he sliced it into 4′ high grass. thanks, calbert.
oh and it’s also worth mentioning that i totally birdied a hole. all on my own. 2 awesome points for me.
