i’d say it’s about time to dust off this ‘ole blog, don’t you think!? i’ve got a whole mountain of shoots coming up so get ready for a fun spring.

prior to their session, i had been communicating mainly with logan, so i was really looking forward to meeting laura and spend time getting to know both of them. they are both so incredibly sweet and kind. proof? toward the very end of our shoot, i was moving while shooting (when will i learn) and stepped into a really deep hole–like i can’t believe i didn’t break my leg, deep–and they didn’t even laugh at me. i mean we all laughed once we surveyed the situation but their first response was regarding my health. they can make fun of me later.

logan and laura met and began dating in high school and their love transpired while at purdue. this past november logan surprised laura with the rose gold ring of her dreams and a resounding of “yes” lead to today. i can’t wait to celebrate in august!! xoxo

tangent– does anyone else think of 60 minutes when you say their names?? “laura..logan…..lara logan….tick tick tick tick tick.”
