weekend roundup

what a week! admittedly, i didn’t do much working (which i had planned for) because i had family in town! abby, kyle and ainsley stopped by jasper on their way to their new post in minot, nd. i am SO happy that we’re now separated by states instead of oceans and countries. obviously, we did a shoot with them.

on to things of note:
• last night i had a shoot with jasper high school senior, thad. i left feeling so ok with the world, knowing that parents are raising such amazing kids like thad. more to come on that later.
• last week i announced fall mini sessions! details are below and i have a few spots left. make sure you like my facebook page for first access to future shoots like this! email me (mmh{@}meghanhochgesang.com–take out those brackets if you copy that link) to reserve a spot!

• baby p keeps on growing! he/she’s the size of a turnip this week and i am finally beginning to look pregnant vs just feeling pregnant. if he/she cooperates, we’ll find out the sex on thursday! if i could just kick these monster headaches, we’d be smooth sailing!
• josh and i are sneaking away for a long weekend to our beloved dc this thursday. we have really tried to make a trip back once a year and i’m so glad that it worked out again this year. thank you, jetsetter and cheap airfare. i can’t wait to spend some alone time with josh, see a dear friend, and eat some really great food.
• andrew’s babe ruth team made it to the quarter finals of the babe ruth world series before falling to tulatin hills, oregon, making them the 5th best babe ruth team in the country. that’s pretty darn impressive.
• friday marked the beginning of high school football season, which means endless friday night lights references. #texasforever
• ainsley (and kyle) made her first trip to the schnitzelbank this past week. she loved the bratzel.
• good luck to all college students (especially my sister) starting their classes today!!!
happy monday! make it a good one!
