see that above? that is one of my absolute favorite photographers thanking me for a compliment i paid to her. i mean… President Obama (see that? i NEVER capitalize on here. it’s not my style. but for Obama, i bend the branding rules) might as well have shaken my hand and kissed my (non-existent) baby.

this all brought me to a big realization: how hard is it to acknowledge those who support you and your career? answer? not hard at all and as the result of not much effort, i’m left feeling so incredibly special because CLARY PHOTO JUST SENT ME AN EMAIL. holy cow.

so with this little note, i decided that i’m going to start a new feature: pay it foward friday. i’m going to give a shout-out to someone/something that has especially impressed me from that week. because as kanye says, “If you admire somebody, you should go ahead and tell ’em. People never get the flowers while they can still smell ’em.” compliments mean the world, are easy to give out and cost nothing, so i’m going to start doing my part to give them more often. who’s with me?
