so i’ve done some headshots in the past for various corporate clients but never posted them, because, let’s be honest…they’re not exactly exciting work. i realized last week why i’ve never loved the ones i’ve shot before: they were inside. folks, i am a natural light, on location photographer, through and through. i get told a LOT that i need to get a studio, but at the end of the day, i know that sort of shooting will never suit me.
this is jack. he’s an 8th grader at jasper middle school and is a budding photographer. jack is driven, hard-working and eager. it’s pretty impressive how he handles himself and the time he dedicates to this craft. he asked me to take some headshots for his new website, launching soon (you can find him on facebook until then), and i LOVE how they turned out!
