maya's first fish

we spent the 4th at a family farm, full of food, fishing and fireworks.

i am so glad, for little maya, that i was able to capture her first caught fish, EVER. i wish i had that moment on record for myself. her little brother, mateo, had just caught his first fish, too, but i was, unfortunately, on the other side of the pond and my pics are a little blurry. she was so excited, she could hardly contain herself. she wanted to hold the little bluegill so badly, not realizing that his little fins could hurt her. ooh to be a 3 year old again….
