i LOVE this sweet family and get excited every time i get to photograph them. you can see past sessions here and here and now they’re back with a brand new baby BROTHER! emma and hadley are totally a dynamic duo and i could photograph their crazy antics all day, especially when the light was as good as it was this morning. ugh. i want to eat these photos with a spoon!

just a little side note i’d like to get off my chest: lots of their family shots (and shots from most of my family sessions) don’t include everyone looking at the camera. i know a lot of photographers try, endlessly, to get everyone looking but you know what? that’s just not real life! my style centers on capturing real life, perfect in its own way. the shots where it’s a little crazy and someone’s whining and another one refuses to look? they’re my favorite. because they’re real.
