sophie and peter met under interesting circumstances. “interesting” in that peter was sophie’s boss at kanakuk camps. he noticed her immediately, recognizing that she was very special, but was unable pursue anything until the summer was over. meanwhile, sophie was sure that peter didn’t know she existed. fast forward to the end of the summer when peter immediately asked sophie on a date, and the rest was history.

when siblings of past brides get engaged, i always hope i get to photograph the next wedding. so when i saw that sophie was engaged, i started crossing my fingers. not only did i get to photograph sophie’s day, but josh/brew also catered! i was nervous for brew’s first big catering event, but they knocked it out of the park like i knew they would.

s+p, your love is one of the sweetest i’ve photographed. i’m so thankful you chose me to document your day. it was perfect and beautiful and filled with all the most important things–just like the two of you.

One of the biggest, most unexpected joys of my job has been seeing my former couples become parents. PQ and Kyle welcomed twin boys into the world and they are literally the sweetest.

these boys were so proud of themselves. i’m not sure i’ve ever had a group of guys SO into taking photos.
