holy wow, i had SO much fun capturing laura and craig last weekend. beyond bumping into laura randomly a few months ago, i hadn’t spent any time with her other than through emails. and i might add that we booked during tax season. and she’s an accountant. so, yeah, interaction was brief. it was so great finally meeting her and craig and it made me even more excited to shoot their wedding next summer. the only downside to photographing engagement sessions 9+ months in advance? i have to wait THAT much longer to see them again!

meet chief. you all know i have a thing for yorkies, so you can imagine how excited i was when this little dude strolled up to the shoot.
see the way laura’s heel is lifted out of her wedge? ugh. that’s the stuff right there. can’t make it happen, you just smile when it does and you were lucky enough to capture it. oh and can we take a minute to observe the fact that this is the 3rd shoot (IN A ROW) that my ladies have worn TOMS? oh and the next family shoot i’ll be posting? yeah. they wore TOMS, too. i’m so glad when something so worthwhile is also so trendy.
