i’m not sure how i’ve been so lucky this summer to have been paired with so many AWESOME couples. coming down from heather+josh’s wedding, i was immediately looking forward to spending the day with makenzie and zeth. again, thoughtful people…makenzie, i believe, gave me/us our first baby gift. i was so taken back and knew immediately she was my kind of client friend.
there’s a lot of familial love between these two and it was a pleasure to be able to capture the closeness between makenzie, her brother, sister, and dad as well as zeth and his mother. if you didn’t know, beth owns a bridal (and AWESOME kids’) store in huntingburg so you can imagine how excited she was for this day. i hope the photos do makenzie’s dress and shoes, the girls’ gowns and the boys’ suits, all from beth carter, justice. we joked throughout the day that we were a walking billboard for her store.
i’m off the subject…makenzie, zeth it was a honor to have spent the day with you and your families. the girls from iCandy did a great job with hair and kana brown killed it with the girls’ makeup. your ceremony at st. joe’s was beautiful (crackerjack box ring, and all), as was your reception at huntingburg events center which was decorated beautifully by erin’s events. and their awesome transportation by pink elephant celebrations was the cherry on top. a literal pink cherry. i wish you two nothing but the best and hope you had an amazing time in jamaica!
hey makenzie, you are STUNNING.
that photo on the left may be my favorite of the day.
good-lookin’ group, no?? natural smiles for the win!
i absolutely love the photo on the right of zeth’s mom.
remember what i said about the crackerjack box ring? don’t worry, as you saw earlier, her ring is definitely NOT of the cjb variety. sidebar: i’ve never seen a priest speechless. nicely done, best man.
married!
i always say…if you’re going to wear a veil, wear.a.veil. and hope the breeze works in your favor.
i love when couples have intimate head tables vs one big long line. better photos, y’all!
i’ll end with this. makenzie and her brother, connor, are very close and she chose to have a first dance with him as well. i may have been ugly crying behind my camera. maybe.
Oh Megan,
These are just lovely, you’ve captured so many expressions. I am smiling as I look through.
And of course, thanks for getting a few of the floral arrangements and bouquets.
You have such a great touch.
